If I am selected as a winner in the BCMCC, I grant the BCMCC a mechanical license at no cost to make a recording of my composition, distribute the recording, and to perform my composition.  I agree to have the BCMCC perform the world premiere of my composition.  If the BCMCC does not perform my work before 1 March 2014, I retain the right to premier my composition.  I agree to have the BCMCC make the first recording of my composition.  I agree to have the CD recording of my work made available to the general public via release on the label of the BCMCC’s choosing.  I will receive no compensation now, or at any point in the future, relating to this recording, and to the distribution on CD, digital download, etc.  If the BCMCC does not release the recording of my composition before 1 March 2014 I retain the right to record my composition.  I will work with the BCMCC to have my score published and will have the work published and available by the world premiere concert.  I grant the BCMCC rights to perform my composition in future performances.

If I win the BCMCC I will be notified prior to the official announcement.  After being notified I will immediately submit my headshot and bio for use by the BCMCC for any and all publicity pertaining to the BCMCC.  Failure to submit my materials within two weeks of notification may result in another winner being chosen.  Only after all publicity materials have been received will the official announcement of competition winners be made.

Incomplete applications will not be processed.  All fees submitted are non refundable.  The BCMCC reserves the right to not select winners or modify prize arrangements.  All decisions are final.

I agree the BCMCC may use my name and the title of my composition in materials pertaining to the BCMCC.
